Those of you who have been at St. John’s more than 5 years may remember Sheree Kelly. She died last week; her memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, October 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church.
Kelly, Sheree Marlene 79 Aug. 15, 1932 Sept. 29, 2011 Born in Corvallis to Perry and Frieda (Stumpenhaus) Lance, Sheree graduated from Vancouver High School in 1950. Moving back to Corvallis, she married William E. Kelly in 1952. Sheree worked for the Corvallis Telephone Co., Lipman's department store and as a broker for Stan Wiley Realtors. She was an entrepreneur, operating her own business in weight management in Lake Oswego. Always passionately involved in her church as a teacher, mentor, writer and organizer, Sheree consistently reflected the love of Christ to all those around her. She is greatly loved by her many friends. Sheree loved parties, dancing, writing, holding babies and playing the organ. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; children, Susan Nelson, Mike Kelly and Dan Kelly; sister, Jo Anne Mark; and six grandchildren. Sheree's memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. in Willamette National Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Stehn Family Chapels Milwaukie.
