Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

E-bulletin
Announcement about Announcements: The Vestry requested a change to our announcement time during the Easter season in an attempt to create a more meaningful worship atmosphere with less time taken up for announcements and to improve communication so that more/all announcements go through the office and make it into the written announcement sheet, our website, and E-News. After receiving your feedback, it was decided that change will continue with announcements occurring after the Peace and lead by Mo. Rebecca (or a parish representative in her absence). If you have an announcement, please send it to Sue in the office beforeWednesday morning. If it is urgent and you forget, please give Mo. Rebecca your written announcement bySunday morning.
Thank you!
We have many people to thank this week for their outstanding work and service to our parish!
Donna Halpin: As she moves on to new full time work, we thank Donna for her outstanding service as our Church School Coordinator these past several years.
Judy Steele: For her hard work in hosting the ecumenical clergy luncheon this month to get the word out about our wonderful Children’s Clothing Closet. Thanks also to Linda Kidd and Barbara Bullard!
St. Martha’s Guild: For their work on creating a lovely reception for the Celebration of New Ministry reception this past Wednesday.
Patti Denny: For a job well done in organizing St. John’s successful Plant Sale.
Abby Elliott is doing a canned food drive Sunday for her Senior Project to donate to the Oregon Food Bank. She will take any non-perishable food items, but preferably cans of food.

Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Stewardship surveys are starting to come back and preliminary trends are starting to emerge. You may or may not agree with what your fellow parishioners are saying so PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! May 31st is the deadline to turn in your survey to the box in the narthex, offering plate, office, or email address. Do you have graduating seniors in your family? Please let us know about them– we will be honoring graduates on an upcoming Sunday.

Ascension Observed
Grant, we pray, Almighty God, that as we believe your only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ to have ascended into heaven, so we may also in heart and mind there ascend, and with him continually dwell; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
